- 1 (2 layer) pkg. fudge cake mix
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1 tsp. almond extract
- 1 (21 oz.) can cherry pie filling
- 1 c. sugar
- 5 Tbsp. butter
- 1/3 c. milk
- 1 c. chocolate chips
Directions

1Combine cake mix, eggs and almond extract in bowl; mix well. Stir in pie filling gradually.

2Pour into lightly greased and floured 9 x 13-inch baking pan.

3Bake at 350° for 25 to 30 minutes or until cake tests done.

4Combine sugar, butter and milk in saucepan; mix well. Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring frequently.

5Remove from heat.

6Stir in chocolate chips.

7Spread icing over hot cake.
