- 1/2 c. unsweetened cocoa
- 3/4 c. boiling water
- 1 3/4 c. sifted cake flour
- 1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/2 c. oil
- 7 egg yolks
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla
- 1/2 tsp. cream of tartar
- 1 3/4 c. sugar
Directions

1In large bowl of electric mixer let egg whites warm to room temperature about 1 hour.

2Preheat oven to 325°.

3Place cocoa in small bowl.

4Add boiling water.

5Stir until smooth.

6Let mixture cool about 20 minutes.
