  • 6 Tablespoons Butter
  • 1 cup Flour, Self Rising
  • 3/4 cups Sugar
  • 1/2 cups Pecans, Chopped
  • 1-1/2 Tablespoon Cocoa
  • 1/2 cups Milk
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla
  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 1/4 cups Cocoa
  • 1-1/2 cup Water, Boiling

Directions

    Melt butter in a 13x9 pan or dish at 350 degrees F.

    Combine flour, 3/4 cup sugar, pecans, 1 1/2 tablespoons cocoa, milk and vanilla in a small bowl.

    Spoon over melted butter. DO NOT STIR.

    Mix 1 cup sugar and the 1/4 cup cocoa together and sprinkle back and forth over the batter. DO NOT STIR.

    Pour boiling water over top. DO NOT STIR.

    Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Cool somewhat. Best if served warm!

    Top with vanilla ice cream, if desired.
