  • 2 1/2 cups sugar
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 1 3/16 cups dark chocolate
  • 5 1/4 tablespoons butter

Directions

    Wash and thinly slice the oranges into circles.

    Place the oranges along with the water, sugar, and cinnamon into a saucepan and cook on low heat for 75 minutes. Remove the oranges from the pan, place onto a baking rack, and let cool for a few hours.

    Melt the chocolate and butter together in a double boiler. Dip the orange slices halfway into the chocolate to coat.

    Store in freezer.
