Ingredients

  • 1/3 c. butter
  • 1/4 c. packed brown sugar
  • 1 tsp. orange extract
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 (6 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate, melted
  • 2 c. mixed fruit
  • 1/2 c. sifted flour
  • 1/2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp. soda
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 c. water
  • 1 c. nuts

Directions

    Cream butter, sugar and extract.

    Add eggs, one at a time. Blend in cooled chocolate.

    Add dry ingredients, sifted together, alternately with water.

    Add fruit and nuts.

    Bake in a greased and floured 9-inch tube pan for 50 minutes at 350°.
