Chocolate Kentucky Pie

- 1 (9-inch) pie crust (unbaked)
- 2 eggs
- 1 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. butter, melted
- 1/4 c. cornstarch
- 3 Tbsp. coffee brandy
- 1 c. chocolate bits
- 1 c. walnuts
Directions

1Preheat oven to 350°.

2Put pie crust in freezer while you make filling.

3Beat the eggs with a whisk until just blended. Gradually add 1/2 the sugar.

4Add cornstarch to remaining 1/2 of the sugar, stirring to remove lumps.

5Blend into egg mixture.

6Add and stir in brandy and butter.

7Pour this into pie shell that you have first added nuts and chocolate bits to.

8Bake for 40 to 50 minutes.

9Serve at room temperature with whipped cream.
