- 12 oz. chocolate chips
- 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
- 1 (5 oz.) can evaporated milk
- 1 c. chopped walnuts
- 1/2 tsp. almond extract
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla
- 3 c. unsifted flour
- 1 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 c. butter or margarine
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 tsp. almond extract
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla
Directions

1Combine chocolate chips, cream cheese and evaporated milk in saucepan.

2Melt and mix on very low heat; add walnuts and 1/2 teaspoon almond extract.

3Cool.

4Combine remaining ingredients in large mixing bowl.

5Press 1/2 mixture into a greased 9 x 13-inch pan.

6Spread chocolate mixture on top.

7Sprinkle rest of mixture on top of filling.

8Bake

9at 350° for 35 to 40 minutes or until brown on top.

10When cold, cut into bars or squares.
