Ingredients

  • 1 (9-inch) pastry shell, unbaked
  • 2 eggs
  • 3 1/2 Tbsp. cocoa
  • 1 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 (5.33 oz.) can evaporated milk
  • 1/4 c. butter, melted
  • 1/8 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 to 3/4 c. chopped pecans
  • 1/2 pt. whipping cream, whipped

Directions

    Beat eggs and add cocoa, sugar, vanilla, milk, butter and salt. Mix well.

    Add pecans.

    Pour into pastry shell and bake at 350° for 35 to 45 minutes or until set.

    Chill at least 4 hours before serving.

    Top with whipped cream.
