  • 5 1/3 c. (14 oz.) flaked coconut
  • 2/3 c. sugar
  • 6 Tbsp. flour
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 4 egg whites
  • 1 tsp. almond extract
  • chocolate (for melting)

Directions

    Mix first 4 ingredients.

    Stir in egg whites and almond extract.

    Blend well.

    Drop by tablespoonfuls on greased and floured cookie sheets.

    Bake cookies at 350° for 20 minutes. Cool.
