- 4 egg whites
- 1 c. fine (bar) sugar
- 8 oz. bittersweet chocolate (not chocolate chips)
- 1 pt. heavy cream
- 3 Tbsp. coffee flavored liqueur
- drop of lemon juice or very small pinch of cream of tartar
Directions

1Over double boiler, mix egg whites and sugar and dissolve sugar (whites should be warm, not hot).

2Add a drop of lemon juice and whip whites to stiff peaks.

3Chop chocolate and melt over double boiler; cool slightly.

4Fold chocolate into egg whites.

5Whip heavy cream stiff.

6Fold in liqueur.

7Fold whipped cream into chocolate mix.

8Divide into 6 glasses.

9Top with whipped cream.
