- 1 pie crust
- 14 cup butter
- 1 cup brown sugar, firmly packed
- 3 eggs
- 12 cup light corn syrup
- 1 12 cups pecans, broken
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 12 teaspoon salt
- 6 tablespoons somebody's mother's chocolate syrup
Directions

1Preheat oven to 375 degrees.

2Brush the bottom of the pie shell generously with the chocolate sauce.

3Cream the butter and brown sugar.

4Then beat in the eggs, one at a time.

5Stir in the corn syrup, pecans, vanilla and salt.

6Fill the shell.

7Bake the pie about 40 minutes or until a knife inserted in the filling comes out clean.

8Serve warm or cold.

9Spoon warm chocolate over each slice of pie.
