- 1 c. chocolate bits
- 2/3 c. evaporated milk
- 2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
- 1 c. sugar
- 2 Tbsp. flour
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
- 1 c. chopped pecans
- 1 unbaked pie shell (9-inch)
Directions

1Combine chocolate bits, evaporated milk and butter in a small saucepan.

2Cook over low heat until mixture is smooth and creamy. Combine other ingredients and gradually stir into chocolate mixture.

3Pour into unbaked pie shell.

4Bake in moderate oven (375°) for 40 minutes or until firm.

5Cool pie completely before covering.
