  • 1/3 c. cocoa
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 2 egg yolks
  • 2 Tbsp. flour
  • pinch salt
  • 2 c. milk
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1/4 stick margarine

    In saucepan combine sugar,

    flour, salt, cocoa, and egg yolks; stir in enough milk to make good paste. Cook and stir over medium heat until bubbly. Cook and stir 2 minutes; gradually adding remaining milk. Remove from heat. Add butter and vanilla. Pour into cooled baked pastry shell. Spread meringue on top of pie and bake at 350° for 12-15 minutes.
