  • 1/2 c. Crisco
  • 3 c. sugar
  • 3 sticks margarine
  • 5 eggs
  • 1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 c. milk
  • 1/2 c. cocoa
  • 3 c. flour, sifted
  • 1/4 tsp. salt

Directions

    Blend Crisco, sugar and margarine.

    Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each.

    Add vanilla.

    Add dry ingredients alternately with milk.

    Bake in greased and floured tube pan at 325° for 1 1/2 hours (or until toothpick when inserted is clean).
