- 2 sticks margarine, softened
- 1/2 c. Crisco
- 3 c. sugar
- 5 eggs
- 4 Tbsp. cocoa
- 1 c. milk
- 3 c. all-purpose flour
- 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 Tbsp. vanilla
Directions

1Cream margarine, shortening and sugar until fluffy.

2Sift together flour, salt, baking powder and cocoa together.

3Add eggs, one at a time to creamed mixture.

4Add dry ingredients alternating with milk and vanilla.

5Beat 3 minutes at medium speed.

6Pour in tube pan that has been greased and floured.

7Bake at 325° for 1 hour and 20 minutes or until done when tested.
