  • 2 sticks butter
  • 1/2 c. Crisco
  • 3 c. sugar
  • 1 c. evaporated milk
  • 5 eggs
  • 3 c. cake flour
  • 1/2 tsp. baking powder
  • 4 Tbsp. cocoa

Directions

    Cream butter, Crisco, sugar and add eggs, one at a time.

    Sift flour, baking powder, cocoa and add to the other mixture alternately with milk.

    Bake in tube pan at 250° for 2 hours, or until done.
