  • 1 c. water
  • 1/4 c. cocoa
  • 2 sticks oleo
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 2 c. flour
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 c. buttermilk
  • 1 tsp. soda
  • 2 eggs, well beaten
  • 1 tsp. vanilla

Directions

    Bring water, cocoa and oleo to a boil.

    Set aside to cool. Add sugar, flour, salt, buttermilk with soda, eggs and vanilla, mixing in order.

    Bake in a brownie pan sprayed with Pam at 350° for 35 minutes.
