  • 1 tsp. soda
  • dash of salt
  • 1 c. water
  • 2 sticks margarine
  • 4 Tbsp. cocoa
  • 1/2 c. buttermilk or sour milk
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp. vanilla

Directions

    Put first 4 ingredients in mixing bowl.

    Bring water, margarine and cocoa to a boil and add to dry ingredients.

    Mix thoroughly.

    Add remaining ingredients and mix well.

    Bake at 400° for 20 minutes in 12 x 17-inch pan.
