  • 2 c. flour
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 c. buttermilk
  • 2 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • 1 stick margarine
  • 3 Tbsp. cocoa
  • 1/2 c. vegetable oil
  • 1 c. water

Directions

    Mix flour and sugar in one bowl.

    In a second bowl, blend eggs, buttermilk, vanilla and baking soda.

    In a saucepan, mix margarine, cocoa, oil and water and bring to a boil.

    Blend all 3 mixtures together.

    Pour in ungreased baking dish (1/2 inch deep). and bake at 400° for 20 minutes.
