  • 2 c. plain flour
  • 1 stick margarine
  • 1/2 c. oil
  • 4 Tbsp. cocoa
  • 1 c. water
  • 1/2 c. buttermilk
  • 1 Tbsp. vanilla
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. soda

Directions

    Sift sugar, flour together.

    Mix in saucepan the margarine, oil and cocoa and water.

    Bring to a rapid boil and pour over sugar and flour mixture.

    Add and mix well the buttermilk, vanilla, eggs, salt and soda.

    Spray a long pan and bake at 350° for 25 minutes or until done.
