- 1 1/2 c. sugar
- 6 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 1/2 c. boiling water
- 3 sq. semi-sweet chocolate
- 1/3 c. butter or margarine
- 1 tsp. vanilla
Directions

1Combine sugar, cornstarch and salt in medium saucepan.

2Stir until well blended.

3Add boiling water, stir until well blended. Put on stove and cook until mixture thickens, stirring constantly. Add chocolate and butter to mixture, continue cooking and stirring until chocolate and butter melts.

4Remove from heat.

5Add vanilla, stirring constantly. Let cool a little.

6Spread over cake.
