- 10 tbsp (1 1/4 sticks) butter, softened
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 2 None eggs
- 1 cup self-rising flour
- 1/2 cup flour
- 1/2 cup milk
- 3/4 cup chopped candied fruit
- 1/4 cup sliced almonds
- 2 tsp powdered sugar
Directions

1Preheat the oven to 350°F. Grease a 12 x 9-inch baking pan. Line bottom and long sides with parchment paper, extending paper 2 inches over sides.

2Beat butter and granulated sugar in a large bowl with an electric mixer until light and fluffy. Beat in eggs, one at a time. Stir in combined sifted flours and milk. Spread in prepared pan. Drop tablespoons of candied fruit over batter. Using the back of a spoon, swirl fruit through batter. Sprinkle top with nuts.

3Bake for 20 mins. Dust with sifted powdered sugar before cutting into bars. Serve warm or at room temperature.
