Chopstick Tuna

Ingredients

  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 2 c. chow mein noodles
  • 1 c. celery, sliced
  • 1/2 c. toasted cashews
  • 1/4 c. water
  • 1 c. tuna fish, drained
  • 1/2 c. onion, chopped
  • 1 can mandarin oranges, drained and well chilled

Directions

    In a large skillet, melt 1 tablespoon margarine and add sliced celery and onion.

    Saute until tender but not brown.

    Combine the soup and water, mixing well.

    Add this to skillet and stir.

    Add drained tuna, cashews and 1 cup of chow mein noodles and toss lightly.

    Put in ungreased casserole.

    Put remaining 1 cup noodles on top.

    Bake at 375° for 15 to 20 minutes.

    Remove from oven and garnish with mandarin oranges.
