  • 1/2 cup Philadelphia Cream Cheese Product
  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 1-1/2 cups flour
  • 3/4 lb. (340 g) chorizo, casings removed
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped onion
  • 1 egg, lightly beaten

    Heat oven to 400 degrees F.

    Beat cream cheese and butter in large bowl with mixer until well blended.

    Gradually beat in flour.

    Shape into ball.

    Wrap in plastic wrap; let stand 1 hour.

    Meanwhile, cook chorizo and onions in large saucepan on medium-high heat 9 to10 min.

    or until meat is done, stirring frequently.

    Remove from heat.

    Cool completely.

    Roll out pastry dough on lightly floured surface to 1/8-inch thickness.

    Use 4-inch cookie or biscuit cutter to cut pastry into 24 rounds, rerolling scraps as necessary.
