  • 3 qt. watermelon rind
  • 3 qt. cauliflower
  • 3 qt. pickles
  • 3 qt. celery
  • 3 qt. red pepper
  • 3 qt. string beans (green and yellow)
  • 3 qt. carrots
  • 1 qt. onions
  • 1 qt. lima beans
  • 1 qt. kidney beans
  • 1 qt. dried navy beans

    Soak dried beans overnight and cook next morning, not over-soft, about 20 minutes.

    Salt lightly.

    Cook each vegetable until soft.

    Mix together and put into jars.

    Add syrup, which has been brought to a boil.

    Cold pack 10 minutes in a cold water bath.
