  • 1 peck green tomatoes
  • 1 large cabbage
  • 1 1/2 qt. vinegar
  • 6 onions
  • 2 green peppers
  • 3 red peppers
  • 6 c. sugar
  • 2 tsp. celery seed
  • 2 tsp. mustard seed
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1 tsp. whole cloves

Directions

    Grind first 3 ingredients and put in 1/2 cup of salt and let stand all night.

    Grind onions, green peppers, red peppers and sugar together.

    Put remaining ingredients in sack.

    Boil 1/2 hour.

    Put in jars.
