  • 20 green tomatoes, diced
  • 15 onions, sliced
  • 4 each green and red peppers, sliced
  • 6 diced carrots
  • turmeric (for color)
  • 3 Tbsp. pickling spice
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 2 c. vinegar

Directions

    Put all vegetables in pot with spices in cheesecloth.

    Add other ingredients.

    Cook until vegetables are just tender, stirring constantly.

    Put in sterile jars and seal.
