Ingredients

  • 1/2 lb. bacon
  • 3 lb. ground beef
  • 2 c. finely chopped onion
  • 1 c. chopped celery
  • 2 beef bouillon cubes
  • 2/3 c. boiling water
  • 1 1/2 cloves garlic
  • 1 1/2 c. ketchup
  • 3 Tbsp. mustard
  • 1 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. pepper
  • 2 cans baked beans (29 oz. each, B & M's)
  • 3 Tbsp. molasses

Directions

    Fry bacon; set aside.

    Cook and stir beef, onion and celery. Dissolve bouillon in water; stir this and all other ingredients into meat.

    Cover; bake 1 hour and 15 minutes at 375°.

    Crumble bacon on top or combine and heat on low in crock-pot 4 to 5 hours.
