  • 3 pt. sliced cucumbers
  • 3 pt. sliced yellow onions
  • 3 pt. sliced bell peppers
  • 1 c. pickling salt
  • 1 gal. water
  • 2 Tbsp. mustard seed
  • 1 Tbsp. celery seed
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 6 1/2 c. white vinegar

    Cover vegetables with the water and salt.

    Let set overnight. Drain vegetables.

    Bring vinegar, mustard seed, celery seed and sugar to a boil.

    Add vegetables.

    Simmer 5 minutes.

    Pack into hot jars and seal.

    Put in water bath for 15 minutes.
