Cinnamon Buns

Ingredients

  • 2 pkg. quick rise yeast
  • 2 1/2 c. lukewarm water
  • 6 1/4 c. flour
  • 1 box yellow cake mix
  • 3 eggs
  • 1/3 c. oil
  • 1 tsp. salt

Directions

    Dissolve yeast in water for 3 minutes.

    Add 1 cup flour, cake mix, eggs, oil and salt.

    Using mixer, beat until bubbles appear. Add remaining flour slowly.

    Add more flour if necessary to work dough.

    Let rise until double in bulk.

    Punch down and roll out 1/4-inch thick. Spread with soft butter and sprinkle with a mixture of 1 cup brown sugar and 4 teaspoons cinnamon.

    Roll like jelly roll and cut in 1-inch pieces.

    Place on greased pan and let rise until double in size.

    Makes approximately 40 buns.

    Bake at 350° for 20 minutes.
