  • 1 lb. margarine (no diet)
  • 2 c. brown sugar
  • 1 c. granulated sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 Tbsp. vanilla
  • 6 c. flour
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 5 or 6 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1 tsp. soda in 1 Tbsp. hot water
  • 1 c. walnuts (if desired)

Directions

    Cream margarine and sugar.

    Add eggs and vanilla.

    Gradually add sifted dry ingredients.

    Add soda and hot water last.

    Form into rolls and keep in refrigerator or freezer, wrapped in foil or waxed paper.
