- 1 c. sugar
- 2 sticks butter
- 1 egg yolk (save white)
- 2 c. plain flour
- 3 tsp. cinnamon
- 1 c. chopped nuts
Directions

1Cream sugar and butter and add egg yolk.

2Sift together flour and cinnamon.

3Combine ingredients and mix well.

4Press into jelly roll pan.

5Beat egg white until foamy and spread over dough. Sprinkle with one cup of chopped pecans and gently press them down.

6Bake 45 minutes at 300°.

7As soon as removed from oven, immediately cut into fingers and remove from pan to cool.

8Freezes beautifully.
