  • 1 pkg. yeast
  • 4 Tbsp. lukewarm water
  • 1/2 c. soft butter
  • 1 c. lukewarm milk
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 c. sugar
  • 3 3/4 c. flour
  • 2 c. powdered sugar
  • 1/4 c. milk

    Put yeast in bowl.

    Add water.

    Let stand 4 minutes.

    Add butter, milk, eggs, salt, sugar and 2 cups flour.

    Beat 3 minutes. Add rest of flour.

    Mix well.

    Cover and let stand until double in bulk.

    Turn out on floured board and work dough.

    Take rolling pan and roll them.

    Have a mixture of 1 cup sugar, 1 stick of softened butter, 1 tablespoon cinnamon and 1 1/2 cups softened raisins. Spread on dough.

    Roll up dough.

    Cut and lay on greased sheet. Bake in 350° oven when double in bulk.

    Mix powdered sugar and milk.

    Put on rolls when done.
