- 2 (14 ounce) cans diced tomatoes
- 1 (6 ounce) can tomato paste
- 1 cup clam juice
- 1/2 cup dry red wine
- 1/4 cup chopped onion
- 1/4 cup chopped green bell pepper
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon dried basil
- 2 (6 1/2 ounce) cans minced clams
- 8 ounces fillets of sole
- 8 ounces shrimp, trimmed
- salt and pepper
Directions

1Combine all ingredients except seafood, salt and pepper in slow cooker.

2Cover and cook on low 6-8 hours, adding clams and liquor during the last hour and remaining seafood during the last 15 minutes.

3Season to taste with salt and pepper.
