  • 2 c. 5 oz. clams
  • 1 c. chopped onions
  • 4 to 5 c. diced potatoes
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/8 tsp. pepper
  • 1 tsp. celery salt
  • 3 slices bacon
  • 2 Tbsp. flour
  • 1 Tbsp. margarine
  • 4 c. milk

Directions

    Drain and save juice from clams; put juice in 2-cup measuring cup.

    Fill with water to make 2 cups liquid.

    Fry bacon until crisp (chopped); set aside.

    Cook potatoes, chopped onions and spices in 2 cups of liquid; when potatoes are done, add margarine, flour, milk, bacon and clams.

    Stir.
