- 2 slices bacon
- 1 (7 oz.) can minced clams with liquid
- 1 large potato, peeled and cubed
- 1/4 c. minced onions
- 1/2 c. water
- 1 (13 oz.) can evaporated milk
- 1 Tbsp. butter
- dash of salt and pepper
Directions

1Put bacon in a 2-quart casserole.

2Cover with paper towel. Microwave 1 1/2 to 2 minutes, until crisp.

3Remove paper towel and bacon; leave drippings in casserole.

4Crumble bacon and set aside. Add clams, liquid, potato, onions and water.

5Cover and microwave 8 minutes on High, stirring every 3 minutes.

6Add milk, bacon, seasonings and butter.

7Cover and cook 2 to 3 minutes until it comes to a boil.

8Let stand 2 minutes.

9Serves 3 to 4.
