- 1/2 pt. or 1 c. fresh clams
- 1 Tbsp. butter
- 1 chopped green onion
- 1 small diced potato
- 1 c. boiling water
- 1 c. hot milk
- salt and pepper to taste
Directions

1Chop the clams.

2Melt the butter in a pan and add the onion, potato and water.

3Simmer for 20 minutes or until the potato is tender.

4Add clams; cook 3 minutes.

5Add the milk and heat but don't boil.

6Add salt and pepper to taste.

7Serve with crisp crackers.
