  • 1/2 lb. bacon
  • 3 (6.5 oz.) cans minced or chopped clams
  • 10 to 12 diced potatoes
  • 1 large chopped onion
  • 1 pt. to 1 qt. half and half
  • butter
  • salt
  • pepper

Directions

    In thick-bottomed pan, fry cut-up bacon and pour off grease. Add clams, potatoes and onion.

    Cook until potatoes are soft.

    Add half and half and cook until thick over medium to medium-high heat.

    Stir frequently.

    Season to taste with butter, salt and pepper.
