- 1 medium onion, cut fine
- 3 c. (strong) cubed potatoes
- 1 (10 1/2 oz.) can whole clams and juice
- 3 or 4 c. milk
- salt and pepper
- butter (size of walnut)
Directions

1Fry out slices of salt pork in a 2-quart saucepan, then add to this the water, onion and potatoes.
