- 4 to 6 slices bacon
- 1 pt. finely chopped clams
- 2 medium carrots
- 3 medium potatoes
- 1 medium onion
- 6 Tbsp. butter
- 6 Tbsp. flour
- 6 c. Milkman powdered milk
- season to taste (our favorites are garlic, Mrs. Dash, parsley and turmeric)
Directions

1Fry bacon; remove.

2Stir-fry clams in bacon grease.

3Stir-fry carrots, onion and potatoes until done.

4Add butter, if needed. Remove veggies.

5Add butter to remaining bacon grease.

6Add flour and spices.

7Fry until golden.

8Add 6 cups milk all at once; stir constantly until mixture thickens.

9Do not boil.

10Crumble in bacon and serve.
