Ingredients

  • 4 to 5 medium potatoes
  • 1 qt. water (approximate)
  • salt to taste
  • 6 to 8 clams, chopped
  • 1/2 c. diced country ham
  • dash of black pepper
  • 1/4 c. onion, chopped
  • corn meal to thicken (approximately 2/3 c.)

Directions

    Dice potatoes and onion in small pieces.

    Place in saucepan with salt, pepper, ham and water to cook until potatoes are tender.

    Mix corn meal with water so that mixture is thick.

    Add to cooking ingredients; cook until desired consistency.

    Add clams; cook approximately 6 to 8 minutes.
