- 2 cans (7 1/2 oz. each) minced clams
- water
- 5 medium-sized potatoes, diced
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 4 slices bacon, chopped
- clam liquid
- 1/4 c. butter or margarine
- 1/4 c. flour
- 1 1/2 c. milk
- salt and pepper to taste
Directions

1Drain the clams, reserving the liquid.

2Place the potatoes, onions and bacon in a saucepan and cover them with the clam liquid and water (just cover).

3Cover and simmer until potatoes are tender.
