  • 25 clams
  • 2 1/2 lb. potatoes
  • 1 can mixed vegetables
  • 1/2 c. diced onions
  • 1/4 tsp. green pepper, diced
  • 3 to 4 dashes Texas Pete
  • 3 dashes Worcestershire
  • 1/4 tsp. oregano
  • 1/4 tsp. parsley flakes
  • 4 slices salt pork
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/8 tsp. black pepper
  • 1 pkg. 2 pie crust

    Cut clams up with sharp knife and fork.

    Peel and dice potatoes; combine with onions, pepper, Texas Pete, Worcestershire, oregano, parsley flakes, salt and black pepper in large saucepan. Cover with clam juice and water.

    Add mixed vegetables and boil slowly 1 hour.

    Dice salt pork and fry crisp.

    Add meat and grease to clam

    mixture.

    Continue cooking.

    Mix pie crust and roll out. Using 13 x 9-inch pan, line sides with crust.

    Add clam mixture. Cover with strips of crust.

    Bake in 400° oven until crust is browned.
