Ingredients

  • 2 cans minced clams, including juice
  • 1 medium onion
  • 1/2 green pepper
  • 1/4 lb. butter
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1 tsp. parsley flakes
  • 1 tsp. oregano
  • 1/2 tsp. cayenne pepper
  • 1/2 c. flavored bread crumbs
  • 1/2 c. Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 to 1 c. Cheddar cheese, grated

Directions

    Combine clams with juice of 1 lemon, onion, green pepper, butter, garlic, parsley flakes, oregano and cayenne pepper. Simmer until onion and green pepper are soft.

    Add bread crumbs. Place in a shallow baking dish (pie plate is good).

    Dot with Parmesan and Cheddar cheeses.

    Sprinkle with paprika.

    Bake at 325° for 35 minutes.

    Serve with Matso.
