  • 2 cans (15 Oz. Can) Chickpeas, Drained (Reserve Some Liquid)
  • 3/4 cups Chickpea Liquid From The Can
  • 3 cloves Garlic
  • 2 Tablespoons Tahini (sesame Seed Paste)
  • 1 whole Lemon, Juiced
  • 1/2 teaspoons Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Cumin
  • 1 Tablespoon Olive Oil
  • Pinch Of Paprika

Directions

    Drain the juice from one of the cans of chickpeas into a bowl and reserve 3/4 cup liquid.

    Pour the drained chick peas and garlic into a food processor and pulse to roughly chop.

    Add tahini, lemon juice, salt, cumin and olive oil and pulse.

    Stream in the chickpea juice, 1/4 cup at a time, and turn on high.

    Occasionally scrape down the sides with a spatula.

    Continue blending and adding juice until desired texture is reached.

    Scoop into a dish and sprinkle paprika on four corners.

    Drizzle with additional oil if desired.

    Serve.
