  • 12 cup butter, melted
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup light corn syrup
  • 4 eggs, beaten
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 12 teaspoon salt
  • 1 unbaked 9 inch pie shell
  • 1 -1 14 cup pecan halves

    Combine butter, sugar and corn syrup; cook over low heat, stirring constantly, until sugar dissolves.

    Add eggs, vanilla, and salt, mix well.

    Pour filling into an unbaked pastry shell and top with pecan halves.

    Bake at 325F for 50-55 minutes.
