- 12 cup butter, melted
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup light corn syrup
- 4 eggs, beaten
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 12 teaspoon salt
- 1 unbaked 9 inch pie shell
- 1 -1 14 cup pecan halves
Directions

1Combine butter, sugar and corn syrup; cook over low heat, stirring constantly, until sugar dissolves.

2Let cool slightly.

3Add eggs, vanilla, and salt, mix well.

4Pour filling into an unbaked pastry shell and top with pecan halves.

5Bake at 325F for 50-55 minutes.

6Pie can be served warm or cold.
