- 1 lb. Crisco
- 2 Tbsp. sugar
- 2 egg yolks, beaten with 1 1/4 c. water
- 3 c. flour
Directions

1Add sugar to flour.

2Cut in 1/4 of Crisco.

3Add egg mixture. Beat until smooth.

4Refrigerate in bowl for 1 hour.

5Every hour roll out dough and spread with 1/4 of the remaining Crisco until gone.

6Refrigerate overnight.

7Take a small amount to work with and keep the rest in the refrigerator.

8Roll about 1/4-inch thick. Cut into 6-inch strips 1-inch wide.

9Wind loosely on clothespin overlapping dough.

10Bake at 375° for 10 to 15 minutes until slightly browned.

11Cool 2 minutes, then remove from pin.

12Be sure to grease clothespins.
