- 2 pkg. yeast
- 1 c. sugar
- 1/4 c. shortening
- 2 eggs
- 1 c. milk
- 2 tsp. salt
- 5 c. flour
- 1 c. warm water
Directions

1Melt butter for the top of rolls when you bake them.

2Soften dry yeast in warm water.

3Scald milk; add sugar, salt and shortening.

4Add flour and mix well.

5Add softened yeast and eggs; beat well.

6Add enough flour to make a soft dough.

7Turn out onto floured board and knead.
-
8Place in greased bowl to let rise until double.

9Make into rolls and let rise in greased baking pans. Bake at 350° until brown.
