Co-Cola Chicken
3 ingredients
10 steps
Ingredients
- 1 whole Cut Up Fryer
- 1 can (12 Oz.) Co-Cola (I Use Diet)
- Ketchup To Taste
Directions
-
1Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
-
2Spray casserole/baking dish (usually I use a 13 1/2 by 8 1/2) with a nonstick spray.
-
3Rinse pieces of an entire cut-up fryer.
-
4Place in dish.
-
5The next step has two variations.
-
6You can drizzle ketchup over the top of the chicken pieces and then pour the can of Co-Cola OR you can mix ketchup (usually 1 to 2 cups, depending on how thick you want the sauce to be) and Co-Cola then pour the mixture over the chicken.
-
7Both ways work well and are delicious.
-
8I prefer the first because it makes for a nice variation between parts of the chicken.
-
9Bake for 35 to 45 minutes or until juices run clear and the meat of the thickest piece is no longer pink.
-
10Serve over white rice; pour pan juices over top.
