  • 1 c. butter or margarine, softened
  • 1/4 c. sifted confectioners sugar
  • 2 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 Tbsp. water
  • 2 c. sifted enriched flour
  • 1 c. chopped pecans

Directions

    Thoroughly cream butter, sugar and vanilla.

    Stir in water. Add flour and mix well.

    Stir in nuts.

    Shape into 1-inch balls. Bake 1 inch apart on ungreased cookie sheet at 300° about 20 minutes, or firm to touch.

    Cool thoroughly before removing from pan.

    Dip cookies in confectioners frosting and roll in tinted coconut.

    Makes 4 dozen.
